  • When is the last day my child can be certified?
    Florida Elite will provide several dates regarding certification for your child. The books will close after the second game of the regular season. Florida Elite reserves the right to change dates and deadlines as to when a participant will and can be certified.
  • What are the requirements for my child to participate to play football and cheer in Florida Elite?
    Florida Elite participants must provide 5 documents in order to be able to participate in football and cheer. - Head shot- no hats, sunglasses, other people in the background, must be facing forward - Physical dated after January of the current year. - Signed COVID 19 Waiver - Signed and notarized Parent Consent form - New players must provide proof of identity such as an original Birth Certificate, State Issued ID, or Passport.
  • What are the requirements to become a coach/volunteer in Florida Elite?
    Florida Elite volunteers must provide 4 documents in order to be able to participate in football and cheer. - Volunteer Application - Head shot - no hats, sunglasses, other people in the background, must be facing forward - Certificate from Youth Sports Knowledge on the position you are volunteering for during the current season - Signed COVID 19 Waiver Any volunteer that will have regular access to the children within Florida Elite are subject to a background screening.
  • When are all rosters closed?
    You are able to add players and cheerleaders to your rosters until August 28th, 2022. All participants must be certified by August 28th in order to participate in the 2022 Football and Cheer season.
  • Are there any costs associated in becoming a coach/volunteer in Florida Elite?
    Yes. You must pay for a certification course through Youth Sports Knowledge and your background check
  • Are there any registration fees for my child to play football or cheer?
    Each organization under the Florida Elite Football and Cheerleading league has sole discretion as to what they want to charge for registrations fees. All organizations operate autonomously.
  • How much does it cost to replace my badge should I lose it?
    Replacement badges cost $15.
  • Who should I contact if I have issues with League Magic?
    If you are experiencing any issues with League Magic, you may contact the Director of Certification via email at certification@floridaelitefootball.com.
  • Who should I contact if I do not receive my certificate from Youth Sports Knowledge?
    If you did not receive your certificate after passing the certification course, please reach out to the Director of Certification via email at certification@floridaelitefooball.com
  • Can my child be certified via video?
    No, currently at this time we do in person certification.
  • Who do I call to discuss the certification process?

  • Where can I find all documents for the current season my child will need in order to participate in Florida Elite?

  • Where can I find all documents for the current season in order for me to be a coach/volunteer?
    You can find all current required documents for volunteers by hovering over About Elite and clicking on the Business Center page. The documents and certification links can be found under Registration Documents.
  • Do I have the ability to register online for an organization that I may want to sign up for within Florida Elite?
    Yes, you have the option of registering online within Florida Elite by going to the USER PORTAL-Players Portal. But first check with the organization you are interested in sign up with as they have the option to opt out of using this feature. To find the team closest to you, hover over About Elite and click on Team Info
  • Do you have the ability to register online to be a coach/volunteer with an organization within Florida Elite?

  • When is the Pro-Bowl selection due by?
    The Pro-Bowl selections will be made by September 25th. All dues will need to be paid by that date for the child to receive their uniform and be able to participant in the game. You can use the link below to register the participant. Register for the Pro-Bowl
  • When are Cheerleaders required to be checked in on game day?
    Cheerleaders are required to be checked during the 4th quarter of the prior game other age group. Rookies are required to be checked in 15 minutes before the start of their game.
  • How many games are required for a cheerleader to be eligible for competition?
    They must participate in a minimum of 6 games to qualify for competition.
  • Can cheerleaders dance on the sideline?
    Dancing on the sideline is prohibited. However, this is something being reviewed to be amended in the future for cadences.
  • Does Florida Elite allow battle cheer?
    There is absolutely no battling allowed. If a team performs a battle cheer there will be a $250 fine along with a 1 game suspension of both the head coach and cheer coordinator.
  • If I am the visiting team, do I approach the home team first at half time?
    No, the home team will approach the visiting team to begin halftime performances.
  • What is the Florida Elite Unity Cheer?
    The Florida Elite Unity Cheer is a small cheer used as a bonding experience for all organizations to perform together during their halftime performances at every game. The cheer is updated yearly and will be released June 1, 2023. ** Please note: the Unity Cheer for rookies/freshman will differ from sophomore/junior/senior teams.
  • Is the Florida Elite Unity Cheer mandatory?
    Yes, the Unity Cheer is mandatory.
  • Are there any restrictions with regards to stunting on concrete?
    Yes, stunting on concrete is prohibited. Please have cheerleaders stunt on grass or a mat.
  • When is Cheer competition?
    The Florida Elite Cheer Competition will be held Saturday, October 28th, 2023 at the RP Funding Center in Lakeland, Florida.
  • What are the requirements for the time allowed in my competition routine?
    Your competition routine should be at least 2 minutes and should not exceed 2 minutes and 30 seconds. Your routine should include the follow: - a minimum of 30 seconds of dance. - a minimum of 30 seconds of cheer. (Music must stop during the cheer portion of the routine.)
